What If I Was In Charge.....

I asked mum if I could have a playdate. I looked at her longingly but that didn't change the answer! “NO!!”she said trying to keep in the annoyance. “Have you done your homework, violin, piano or picked up Coco’s poos?”

I hadn't done that.

As I tried thinking of an answer my mind drifted away…... what if I was in charge?

I would play Minecraft and Roblox every day and have playdates whenever. Before I could think of anything else, mum brought me back to the real world and shoved a piece of paper at me with a long list.
